DAY 1: RABAT  SIGHTSEEING 

Arrival at Rabat–Salé Airport, you will meet your driver and enjoy a comfortable transfer to your hotel. After checking in, take a short moment to relax and refresh. At this point, your 6 Days Morocco Tour from Rabat officially begins.

To start the sightseeing, visit the Royal Palace at the end of the Mechouar. At this location, a wide esplanade and a small mosque surround the King’s official residence, built in 1864. Immediately afterward, continue to the Kasbah of the Oudayas, a 12th-century fortress overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Meanwhile, enjoy panoramic views before gradually heading to the Chellah Gardens, where ancient ruins and peaceful paths create a calm atmosphere.

Later on, proceed to the Hassan Tower, the unfinished minaret of a grand mosque. Just nearby, visit the Mohamed V Mausoleum, which houses the tomb of King Hassan II. In the evening, return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Rabat.

DAY 2: RABAT – MEKNES – VOLUBILIS – FEZ

After breakfast, depart Rabat and begin your journey toward Fez. Along the way, stop in Meknes, one of Morocco’s UNESCO-listed Imperial Cities. To begin the visit, explore El Hedim Square, which historically served as a gathering place for the royal army. Shortly after, continue to the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail.

Following this, walk through the Old Medina, where historic streets reveal everyday local life. Subsequently, travel to Volubilis, an ancient Roman site famous for its remarkably preserved mosaics. By late afternoon, drive onward to Fez, where dinner and an overnight stay await.

DAY 3: FEZ – IFRANE – CEDAR FOREST – ERFOUD – MERZOUGA

Early in the morning, leave Fez and travel south toward the desert. As a first stop, visit Ifrane, often referred to as Morocco’s “Little Switzerland” due to its alpine-style architecture. Soon after, continue through Azrou and stop at the Cedar Forest, the largest forest in Morocco.

Around midday, stop for lunch in Midelt, a town well known for its apple orchards. In the afternoon, continue through the scenic Ziz Valley, where palm groves stretch along the road. After passing through Erfoud, famous for fossils and dates, arrive in Merzouga. By late afternoon, check into your hotel near the dunes for dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY 4: MERZOUGA – KHAMLIA – RISSANI – ERG CHEBBI

After breakfast, begin exploring the Erg Chebbi dunes. To begin with, enjoy panoramic views of the vast desert landscape. Next, visit Khamlia Village, also known as the Black Village, where traditional Gnawa music offers a unique cultural experience.

Following that, continue to Rissani, the former capital of the Tafilalet region. Thereafter, explore the traditional souk, which is famous for spices and handmade crafts. At lunchtime, enjoy Medfouna, the traditional Berber pizza. Later in the afternoon, return to Merzouga to prepare for your camel trek. As the sun sets, ride across the dunes toward your desert camp. DAY 5: MERZOUGA – ERFOUD – TODGHA GORGES – OUARZAZATE

Early in the morning, watch the sunrise over the dunes. Afterward, ride camels back to the village and return to your hotel for breakfast and a refreshing shower. Next, begin driving toward Ouarzazate.

Along the route, stop in Jorf to see traditional irrigation canals. After that, visit the impressive Todgha Gorges, the largest canyons in Morocco. Continuing onward, pass through the Valley of Roses and visit a women’s cooperative producing rose-based cosmetics. By late afternoon, arrive in Ouarzazate for dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY 6: DADES GORGES – OUARZAZATE – AÏT BEN HADDOU – MARRAKECH

After breakfast, visit the historic Taourirt Kasbah. Shortly afterward, tour the famous Atlas & CLA Film Studios. The journey then continues to Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Following the visit, cross the Tizi n’Tichka Pass through the High Atlas Mountains. Along the way, stop for lunch in a traditional Berber village. In the afternoon, arrive in Marrakech. Ultimately, transfer to your hotel, marking the end of your 6 Days Morocco Tour from Rabat.
